Adapted activities

The Tourist Office has been awarded the Tourism & Handicap label, which means that you can easily identify places and activities that are accessible to everyone, whether you have a motor, visual, hearing or mental disability.

We have been aware of this approach for many years, and we have compiled a list of adapted activities and stays in Rostrenen and the surrounding area, to enable you to spend a pleasant holiday in Kreiz Breizh, in the heart of Brittany.

Amongst these, discover the paths leading through natural and historical sites, or the interpretation trail of the Landes de Lan Bern Regional Nature Reserve. The Musée de la Résistance en Argoat offers adapted visits in accessible premises to meet those who made a part of local history. And why not try your hand at fishing, thanks to the adapted pontoons on the Canihuel pond, just to tease the fish...

Tourism & Handicap

The Tourist Information Office, located in Rostrenen, has been certified "Tourism & Handicap" since 2014.

The premises and the tourist information are accessible to people with disabilities.

The premises contain, among other things, a sheltered outdoor accessible porch, a counter and low adapted display units. The staff has received training in welcoming people with disabilities and it is possible to converse with some of them in French sign language.

The "Vacances pour tous" brochure will provide you with adapted, descriptive, objective and reliable information on the accessibility of tourist sites, facilities, restaurants and accommodation in the area. Some of them have the Tourism & Handicap label.
